Delete your data

What FSI Doc Manager keeps, where, and how to remove it. You don't need an account to use the app.

In short: almost everything is on your phone, and you delete it there. The only things we hold are feedback messages you chose to send us - email us and we delete them.

How to delete your FSI Doc Manager account

FSI Doc Manager has no separate account or password. “Sign in with Google” only lets the app back up to your own Google Drive and count your free AI pages - we keep no account on our servers. To delete it:

  1. In the app, open Me and tap Sign out.
  2. Remove the app's access: your Google Account → Security → “Your connections to third-party apps & services” → FSI Doc Manager → Delete all connections.
  3. Delete your files: Android Settings → Apps → FSI Doc Manager → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
  4. Optional: delete the “FSI Doc Manager Backup” folder in your Google Drive.
  5. Want us to delete feedback you sent, or have a question? Email fsi_doc@fsitechbd.com - we reply and delete within 30 days.

What is deleted and what is kept is explained below, item by item.

1. Files and data on your phone

Your documents, scans, invoices, expenses, wallet cards and settings are stored only in the app on your phone.

2. Backups in your Google Drive

If you turned on Google Drive backup, your backup is in your Drive, in a folder named “FSI Doc Manager Backup”. We cannot see or delete it - you can:

3. Feedback and reports you sent us

Messages from “Send feedback” and AI reports are the only data we store. To have yours deleted, email fsi_doc@fsitechbd.com with roughly when you sent it (and the email address you used, if you added one). We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

4. AI mode

Pages and text you send with AI mode go to Google's Gemini AI to get your answer. We do not keep them. Google may keep them for a short time only to detect abuse, and does not use them to train its AI. Your daily AI page count is kept on your phone - clearing the app's storage removes it.

5. Usage counts, crash reports and ads

Anonymous usage counts (which tools are used) and crash reports are kept by Google Firebase - usage counts for up to 14 months, crash reports for up to 90 days - and are then deleted automatically. They are not linked to your name or your files. For ads, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

6. Purchases

Premium purchases are handled by Google Play; Google keeps the purchase record under its own policies. Cancel a subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
